Search For Jamestown Runaway Ends After Police Locate Teen

JAMESTOWN – The search for a runaway teen in Jamestown has ended.

Jamestown Police say officers have been looking for 17-year-old Julliuss Jenkins since mid-November.


Juvenile detectives received word from his friends and family on Wednesday who say Jenkins has been in contact with them.

Police say the teen is wanted for “avoiding charges in a criminal matter” and never appeared to be in danger.

They sent a message to their social media followers earlier Wednesday seeking leads in the search.

JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Police Department is seeking help in locating a missing 17-year-old male wanted in connection with a crime.

Police, in a post on social meida, says Julliuss C. Jenkins, 17, has been reported missing since Nov. 13.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Jenkins can call Jamestown Police at 716-483-7537.



Jamestown Police Captain Robert Samuelson tells WNY News Now that Jenkins is “avoiding charges in a criminal matter” in the City of Jamestown.

He adds that Jenkins doesn’t appear to be in danger.
