Three New Deaths Connected To COVID-19 In Cattaraugus County

LITTLE VALLEY – Three more deaths linked to COVID-19 were reported in Cattaraugus County on Wednesday morning.

The county Health Department says a 40-year-old woman, 84-year-old woman and a 97-year-old man all developed respiratory failure leading to their death.

There have been 64 deaths connected to COVID-19 in the county since the pandemic began.


In the latest update local leaders also reported 52 new cases with 489 now active.

There are 43 people hospitalized with the virus in Cattaraugus County.

The seven-day average percent positivity rate is 8.6 percent, down from 9.2 percent the day before.



To date, 3,128 COVID-19 cases have been reported with 2,578 people recovering.
