Gerry Woman Jailed After Police Allegedly Find Drugs During Vehicle Stop

JAMESTOWN – A Town of Gerry woman sits in Chautauqua County Jail after she was allegedly busted with illegal narcotics police believe were slated for sale over the weekend.

New York State Troopers pulled over 34-year-old Amanda Sendall on Federal Place in Jamestown Sunday for alleged traffic violations.

Troopers searched the vehicle after allegedly seeing drug paraphernalia in plain view.


Following a more thorough search, police say they recovered a bag containing methamphetamine, eight bags of heroin, several needles and items commonly used for the use and sale of narcotics

Sendall was then placed under arrest, transported to the State Police Barracks in Jamestown and processed. Police say she was then taken to the Chautauqua County Jail.

The woman is facing a slew of charges including fourth and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance second-degree and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

  1. Duh stupid criminal number one why would you be doing something so careless right out on the open !!! Good job have fun!!! Send her ass to a rehab now and don’t let her get out of there unless she’s headed right upstate
