JAMESTOWN – Six new COVID-19 deaths and 95 additional cases of the virus were reported in Chautauqua County on Thursday afternoon.
The County Health Department made the update to its COVID-19 Dashboard.
Of the new deaths, one person was in their 60s, one in their 70s, three in their 80s and two above the age of 90. Since the pandemic began, 117 deaths linked to COVID-19 have been reported countywide.
There are now 359 active cases with 33 people hospitalized, that down from 38 the day before.
The county’s seven-day average percent positivity rate decreased from 6.1 to 5.6 percent.
To date, there have been 6,917 cases in the county with 6,441 people recovering.
