Man Accused Of Threatening To Kill Person Following Domestic Dispute

JAMESTOWN – A 52-year-old Jamestown man is accused of threatening to kill a person during a domestic dispute on Friday night.

Jamestown Police say Willie Wright was taken into custody following the alleged incident at an East Side Address just before 11 p.m.

It is alleged that Wright held a victim inside the house against their will with two children present.

That reported action, police say, violated a previously established order of protection.

Officers say the man fled before police arrived on scene, however returned to the house an hour later, breaking in by removing the victim’s air conditioner from their window.

He then allegedly threatened to kill them before fleeing once again.

Wright was later located after police were dispatched to the address for a third time that evening. He was found, officers say, hiding under a parked vehicle.

Following a short foot pursuit, he was taken into custody and charged with various crimes including unlawful imprisonment and criminal contempt.
