JAMESTOWN – A motorcyclist was taken via medical helicopter to a regional hospital following a mid-morning crash in the City of Jamestown on Monday.
According to fire dispatch reports, the female motorcyclist was riding in the area of East Second and Winsor Streets when she was hit by a vehicle around 9:20 a.m.
Jamestown Police, the Jamestown Fire Department and Alstar EMS responded to the scene.
Medics on location, while radioing dispatch, reported she was ejected over the handlebars of her motorcycle during the crash.
Around 9:30 a.m. the woman was taken to the helipad at UPMC Chautauqua Hospital to be airlifted via STAT Medevac.
