JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Tarp Skunks fireworks display scheduled for Friday night has been postponed.
Jacob Kindberg, the Director of Business and Sales Operations for the Jamestown Tarp Skunks, says the display will now happen on Friday, July 9.
Rainstorms are blamed for canceling their matchups tonight.
Their Wednesday game against the Niagara Power was also cancelled this week, which created a doubleheader Friday with the matchup previously slated to start at 4 p.m.
“We appreciate our patrons for their understanding and encourage the use of tickets purchased for rained-out games for any other upcoming Tarp Skunks game this season,” wrote Kindberg in a statement.
Now, the doubleheaders will be played Sunday, July 4, and Wednesday, July 14 respectively.
