KIANTONE – A 37-year-old Jamestown man is behind bars after allegedly stabbing a woman with a knife during a domestic dispute in Kiantone on Sunday.

New York State Police say Joseph Piazza was taken into custody at a nearby residence following the alleged incident.

Troopers say that an argument led to the alleged crime.

Piazza was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail pending arraignment in the case.

Police say the victim was treated at a local hospital for her injury.
