JAMESTOWN – Are you looking for a new companion? Well, you’re in luck, because this weekend the Chautauqua County Humane Society has the perfect event for you.

The non-profit animal group is hosting a special dog adoption on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at their adoption center at 2825 Strunk Road in Jamestown.

This is an open event, and no appointments are needed to meet dogs. Officials with the center say there are currently 19 dogs at the shelter looking for a new home. In addition to the pups, several cats are also up for adoption.
