JAMESOTWN – Police have identified the man shot and killed late Tuesday night in Jamestown.
Jamestown Police say 46-year-old Angel Pacheco was shot in the front yard of his house at 60 Water Street around 8:40 p.m.
Scanner reports indicate Pacheco was unresponsive when emergency crews first arrived on scene.
He was taken from the scene to UPMC Chautauqua Hospital where he died as a result of his injuries.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident, labeled now as a homicide, and are asking anyone with information on the shooting to contact the department.
