
UPDATE: Police Identify Man Killed In Late Night Jamestown Shooting
JAMESTOWN – The man shot on Jamestown’s southside late Tuesday night has died.
The Jamestown Police Department says the shooting happened around 8:40 p.m. at 60 Water Street.
Scanner reports indicate the victim was unresponsive when emergency crews first arrived on scene. A medical helicopter was also put on standby.
The male victim was taken from the scene to UPMC Chautauqua Hospital where he has since passed away.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident, labeled now as a homicide, and are asking anyone with information on the shooting to contact the department at (716) 483-7537.
