JAMESTOWN – In a push to honor service members this Veterans Day, the Chautauqua County Humane Society is waiving adoption fees for all vets and active military.

All cat and dog adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and microchip identification implant are part of the promotional campaign.

The standard adoption screening process still applies during all fee-waived promotions, however.

“It’s a way for us to show our appreciation,” said Brian Papalia, CCHS Partnership Director. “Our veterans are already heroes to this country, and now they can be a hero to a homeless pet in need.”

For more information, or to view pets available for adoption, visit chqhumane.org or call (716) 665-2209.
