JAMESTOWN – The Jamestown Police Department’s cutest K-9 has officially earned her Therapy Dog Certification.

The law enforcement agency recognized their comfort dog Hope for the accomplishment over the weekend.

Hope is partnered with Domestic Violence Officer Emma Ward to help victims of traumatic events by providing support and, most importantly, snuggles.

Since she was brought on in January 2021, the Department says the Yellow Lab has helped bridge the gap and breakdown barriers between the community and the police.
