
JAMESTOWN – Police have released an image of what they believe is the getaway vehicle involved in Tuesday night’s shooting in Jamestown.
Officers with the Jamestown Police Department were called to a possible home invasion at 3 North Cowden Place around 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police said a man was shot in the back during the suspected robbery. He taken to UPMC Chautauqua Hospital and later airlifted to UPMC Hamot in Erie for treatment.
Detectives say the suspects arrived in what appears to be a gray colored Ford Fusion. The video, police report, shows two suspects enter the house, with a third remaining behind the wheel of the vehicle. The alleged shooters then exited the house and fled the scene.
