
JAMESTOWN – SUNY JCC’s nursing curriculum is ranking among the best educational programs in New York State.
The Nursing Schools Almanac released their annual rankings, placing SUNY JCC’s degree at 25 out of the 68 programs evaluated.
The placement is determined by student performance based off of 10 years of data.
Jamestown students taking their first licensure exam passed at over 88 percent over the past decade.
In May of 2020, the program had an 86 percent pass rate, two percentages higher than the statewide average.
In the years before that, the school’s pass rate was 94 percent in 2019 and 95 percent in 2018.
