ERIE, Pa. (Erie News Now) – As gas prices reach record highs, motorcycle dealers says they are already starting to see sales rise for bikes.

How much could you save at the pump if you drove a motorcycle?

“The average motorcycle has a five gallon tank, and most of them experience of 50mpg we do have some that get as high as 70 mpg, and we also sell scooters that get up to 120mpg,” said Off Road Express owner Joe Askins.

According to AAA the average pa gas price right now is almost 50 cents more a gallon then they were one week ago.

While Askins says they have both show rooms completely stocked with motorcycles, they are worried about being able to replace the stock that is sold.
