EAST RANDOLPH – A Cattaraugus County man is accused of stealing equipment from a local fire department.

New York State Police responded to the East Randolph Fire Department for a report of a past tense burglary earlier this month.

Following an investigation, it is alleged 54-year-old Michael Havers broke into the building and took two Motorola radios, along with an antique fire extinguisher.

Havers was placed under arrest and charged with third-degree burglary. After processing he was released with an appearance ticket for the Town of Randolph Court.
