FREDONIA The Bach and Beyond Festival is an annual show where classical music preys upon the ears of those that go to the Fredonia Opera House Performing Arts Center.

Under Artistic Director Grant Cooper, this year’s series of three concerts will feature a few new events, from new faces, to soloists, and even more surprises in store.

While the music of the festival is mainly based on Bach, performances will often reference other famous composers like Vivaldi and Mozart. The “Beyond” in the Festival’s name refers to the

inclusion of works of other lesser-known (and some present-day) composers who are artistically linked to the more familiar superstars.

The Festival’s concerts are scheduled for the weekend of the 10th through the 12th, and are located in Village Hall in downtown Fredonia. For more information, or a schedule of the events, visit www.fredopera.org
