Drugs, Weapons Recovered In Raid

JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – Two men, and two juveniles, are facing several charges following a drug raid in the City of Jamestown this week.

Investigators with the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 27 Stowe Street on Monday afternoon.

Inside the house, agents allegedly recovered a quantity of crack cocaine, cocaine, items used for the packaging and distributions of drugs, a quantity of United States Currency believed to be the proceeds of drug sales, and a switchblade knife.

Jovian Maisonet, Jaquez Thomas, and two 17-year-old juvenile males were taken into custody.

The department says Maisonet and Thomas were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminally using drug paraphernalia in the second degree, and criminal possession of a weapon.

Maisonet, officers report, also had warrants for criminal impersonation, false personation, and criminal possession of a controlled substance and robbery.

The juveniles were later released to a guardian. Police say additional charges are expected to be filed in the future.
