JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – In an effort to help animals find their forever home, WNY News Now is partnering with the Chautauqua County Humane Society to showcase animals’ part of our pet of the week segment.

The Chautauqua County Humane Society has dozens of kittens coming in this week that will need homes. If you are looking to add to the family, this is a great week to do it.

CCHS invites you to a Kitten Pawp-Up adoption event at the Chautauqua Mall Saturday from 12 to 3. The adoption fee will be $50 for one kitten and $100 for two kittens.

CCHS Senior Programs Director Brian Papalia said, “Between the number of foster kittens that are ready to be spayed/neutered and those coming in through surrender, we are running out of space, so we are reducing fees and hoping to get these kittens into loving homes. I do want to point out that while the adoption fee is being reduced, the standard adoption procedure will still apply.”
