Assembly Candidates Debating In Bid For Election Tonight

JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – The candidates for New York State’s 150th Assembly seat will debate at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts in Jamestown tonight.

Co-hosted by WRFA-LP, WJTN and WNY News Now, Andrew Goodell (R) and Sandra Lewis (D) will spend 60-minutes answering questions ahead of this fall’s November election.

Goodell, a Republican, has served as the district’s state Assemblyman since 2010. Lewis, the Democratic challenger, is a professor at SUNY Fredonia.











Moderated by WRFA’s Julia Ciesla-Hanley the debate will take place at the Reg Lenna Center for the Arts Multimedia Room and will be broadcast live on 107.9-FM WRFA, Channel 716 on Roku and WNY News Now’s 24/7 streaming network: WNYNewsNow.com/LIVE and our social media pages.

Starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Ciesla-Hanley (WRFA) and Justin Gould (WNY News Now) will take turns asking questions to the candidates.

There will also be an opportunity for each candidate to ask one question to their respective opponent.
