PORTVILLE, NY (WNY News Now) – An investigation into what caused a fatal ATV accident in Cattaraugus County continues.
On Saturday night, the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene on Gleason Hollow Road in the Town of Portville.
The ATV’s rider was found pinned underneath their machine off the roadway when deputies arrived.
Life saving measures by personnel with TransAm Ambulance, Portville and Weston Mills Fire Department were unsuccessful.
With assistance from New York State Police an investigation into what caused the crash is ongoing.
