Jamestown, NY (WNY News Now) – Demarco D. Lathan (34) of Jamestown was taken into custody by officers from the Jamestown Police Department after being caught trespassing on a condemned property on the north side of the city.
On August 3rd, 2023 Jamestown Police received a call for assistance from the Department of Development (DOD) regarding a condemned property located on the north side of the city. Upon arrival officers noticed Demarco D. Lathan (34) of Jamestown exiting the back of the property. Despite being repeatedly warned that he was not allowed on the premises, Lathan had ignored the warnings and continued to trespass on the condemned property.
Following his arrest Mr. Lathan was taken into custody and booked at the Jamestown City Court. He was subsequently released after being issued an appearance ticket.
