(WNY News Now) – A 29-year-old Jamestown resident was apprehended by officers on 8/16/23 following a reported domestic dispute where she allegedly caused physical harm to the victim.
On the evening of 8/16/23, at approximately 5:30 PM, the Jamestown Police Department responded to a call regarding a domestic dispute at a south side residence. Upon arrival at the scene, officers engaged with the victim, gathering information about the incident.
Upon investigation, law enforcement determined that Amber J. Hitchcock, 29, of Jamestown had engaged in a violent altercation. According to the investigation, Hitchcock purportedly threw the victim forcefully against a table and subsequently onto the ground, resulting in physical injuries to the victim.
Hitchcock had left the scene before the officers’ arrival however police located Hitchcock within the vicinity where the incident transpired. Officers took Hitchcock into custody without any resistance. She was subsequently transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where she now awaits her arraignment at the Jamestown City Court.
