(WNY News Now) – A woman was arrested by New York Troopers on August 16, 2023, for criminal possession of a controlled substance following an incident at a gas station.
Troopers apprehended Victoria L. Wagner, 24, of Kenmore on August 16, 2023, on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree.
Troopers were dispatched to a gas station in response to a distress call in the town of Wales. The call pertained to the well-being of an individual who was found unconscious in a parked vehicle. Upon arriving at the scene, Troopers discovered Wagner passed out in a pickup truck. Troopers engaged in a conversation with Wagner and subsequently requested an ambulance for a thorough evaluation of her condition. Ultimately, medical intervention was deemed unnecessary.
Upon closer investigation, it was revealed that Wagner had crack cocaine in her possession. Troopers took her into custody and transported her to SP Elma for the necessary legal procedures.
Wagner was issued an appearance ticket at the town of Wales court on August 31, 2023.
