
(WNY News Now) – On Wednesday, September 6th, 2023, a 22-year-old male was shot in the leg in the 2000 block of S. Salina Street. Police responded to the scene, where they discovered the victim, who is now in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are seeking information from the public.
Syracuse – On Wednesday night, Syracuse police were called to the 2000 block of S. Salina Street at approximately 8:06 P.M. in response to a shooting with injuries. Upon arrival, officers found a 22-year-old male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was swiftly transported to Upstate Hospital and is expected to recover.
During their initial examination of the scene, officers recovered a bullet projectile in the roadway, and it was evident that a nearby residence had also been hit by gunfire.
