(WNY News Now) – A 39-year-old resident of Buffalo, was arraigned on Tuesday before Buffalo City Court Judge Kevin J. Keane on charges of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (Class “A” misdemeanor) and Harassment in the Second Degree (violation), according to Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn.
Buffalo – The incident in question occurred on September 26, 2023, around 1:23 p.m. when Darnell L. McIntosh, 39, allegedly entered the office of an elementary school on Lawn Avenue in Buffalo. Inside the office, he reportedly pushed a school employee to the ground and subsequently pushed a juvenile to the ground, assaulting the young victim.
McIntosh is set to appear for a pre-trial conference on October 24, 2023. He was released without bail, but a temporary order of protection was issued for both victims, and he was ordered to stay away from the school.
If convicted of the most serious charge, McIntosh could face a maximum sentence of up to one year in jail.
