(WNY News Now) – On October 26, 2023, at approximately 5:19 pm, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a walk-in complaint at the Hanover Sub Station regarding a prior incident. A subsequent investigation led to the arrest of 24-year-old who stands accused of unwanted physical contact and endangering the welfare of a child.

Chautauqua County, NY – Chautauqua County law enforcement officials acted swiftly on October 26, 2023, after receiving a complaint about an altercation that had transpired earlier in the week. The incident, which allegedly involved harassment and child endangerment, led deputies to the Hanover Sub Station.

Upon arriving at the scene, deputies conducted a thorough investigation and identified the suspect as 24-year-old Talen A. Baker. Baker is accused of subjecting the victim to unwanted physical contact, and additionally, placing a child in a potentially dangerous situation.


Talen A. Baker was taken into custody without any reported incidents. He was subsequently transported to the Chautauqua County Jail, where he awaits centralized arraignment.
