(WNY News Now) – On November 16, 2023, law enforcement responded to a reported violation of an order of protection, leading to charges against a 22-year-old Mayville County Jail inmate.
Mayville – Deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched on November 16, 2023, following reports of an order of protection breach. The subsequent investigation revealed that Robert Owens, currently incarcerated, had allegedly made multiple calls to the protected party within the last month, thereby violating the established order.
Owens, a 22-year-old male resident of Jamestown, NY, is now facing charges of Criminal Contempt in the 1st degree. The alleged violation will be addressed through a Centralized Arraignment at the Chautauqua County Jail.
