    (WNY News Now) – A 24-year-old Akron, NY, man was apprehended for driving while intoxicated after reports of alleged erratic driving on Route 353.

    Salamanca – In the early hours of November 26, 2023, Grayson B. Ground, 24, was taken into custody in Salamanca on charges of driving while intoxicated. The arrest followed reports of an alleged erratic driver heading south on Route 353. Law enforcement located a vehicle matching the description in the City of Salamanca and initiated a traffic stop due to observed moving violations.

    Following a DWI investigation, Ground submitted to a breathalyzer test, revealing a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .18%. He was subsequently processed and released with an appearance ticket for a later court date in the City of Salamanca.
