JAMESTOWN, NEW YORK (WNY NEWS NOW) – High pressure will maintain mainly dry and uneventful weather over the next few days and through much of the upcoming week. Temperatures will also warm as we head towards the weekend.

High pressure over the Northeast will provide for partly to mostly sunny skies for Wednesday through Friday.

The only exception to this will be a weak cold front dropping into the region later on Friday.

This front may touch off a few scattered mixed rain or snow showers, but most of the region will be dry with the front being rather weak.

High temperatures on Thursday and Friday will be in the upper 30’s to lower 40’s.

Quiet weather will continue into the weekend with temperatures making it into the mid to upper 40’s.

Another potential system may bring in some rain and snow showers later on Sunday and into Monday of next week. Though details and timing are still too early to tell.
