(WNY News Now) – A 58-year-old resident of Jamestown, NY, was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree after a traffic stop on Barrett Ave near McKinley Ave.
In the early hours of 1/23/24, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Violent Crime Unit conducted a routine traffic stop due to observed infractions. Upon investigation, Vincent A. Jones was found in possession of methamphetamine, cocaine, and a digital scale. Consequently, he was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd Degree. Jones was processed at the Jamestown City Jail and released on an appearance ticket. The case is set to be heard at Jamestown City Court.
