(WNY News Now) – New York – The Seneca County Republican Committee has officially endorsed former President Donald J. Trump for a potential 2024 presidential run and Congresswoman Claudia Tenney for New York’s 24th Congressional District, despite ongoing debates over the concept of “Absolute Immunity” for a president’s actions in office.
In a unanimous decision, the committee expressed confidence in Trump and Tenney as strong proponents of America First values. Seneca County Republican Party Chair Tom Fox emphasized their commitment to border security, pro-growth economic policies, and opposition to what they perceive as a detrimental “woke culture.” The endorsements come amidst a larger show of support from various county committees, including Jefferson, Oswego, Cayuga, Wayne, Niagara, Yates, Ontario, Livingston, Wyoming, Genesee, and Orleans counties.
The move underscores the significance of the 2024 election, with the Seneca County Republicans pledging to collaborate with the endorsed candidates’ campaigns to safeguard their vision for the country.
