(WNY News Now) – Jamestown Police detained two individuals following a traffic stop at Falconer St. and Grant St. on Feb. 16th, 2024, where officers discovered narcotics and weapons in their possession.
During a routine traffic stop on Feb. 16, 2024 at 11:51 PM, officers from Jamestown Police’s K-9 Unit and Violence Interdiction Unit halted a vehicle at Falconer St. and Grant St. for observed traffic violations. Subsequent investigation revealed that the vehicle’s occupants, Kylah M. Seiberg and Janice M. Rogers, were in possession of significant quantities of fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, alongside a sum of US currency and a throwing star.
Further scrutiny uncovered Seiberg’s prior conviction, leading to additional charges including Criminal Possession of a Weapon. Seiberg also faced charges for Criminal Possession of Controlled Substances across multiple degrees. Rogers, on the other hand, was charged with multiple counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
Both individuals were held pending arraignment at Jamestown City Court.
