(WNY News Now) – Bemus Point adjusts inservice day to Monday, April 8th, due to a total eclipse on March 8th, making it a regular school day.

Joe Reyda, Superintendent of Schools issued the following statement:

To the Bemus Point Community,

Please be aware that the inservice day originally set for Friday, March 8th, has been moved to Monday, April 8th, to account for the total eclipse occurring on that day. Friday, March 8th, will now be a regular day of school for all students and staff. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s main office.

Thank you for your understanding!

With Respect,

Joe Reyda, Superintendent of Schools
