(WNY News Now) – WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) released a statement today in response to the New York State Legislature’s passage of redistricted Congressional maps:

“Hardworking New Yorkers deserve nothing less than fair and independent districting that accurately reflects their voices. In 2022, I was proud to lead the fight against the Hochulmander, ensuring the strongest New York delegation in 20 years and capturing the House Republican Majority, shaping the future of our nation. I am pleased to see that our legislature has affirmed fair maps that honor the will of the voters while keeping the 23rd district mostly intact. I’m looking forward to representing Tioga County and communities in Niagara County next Congress.”

Congressman Nick Langworthy represents the 23rd Congressional District of New York, including Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Chemung, Schuyler, and Steuben Counties and parts of Erie County. Visit langworthy.house.gov.
