(WNY News Now) – Mayville, NY – In a recurring incident within a week, vigilant Corrections Officers thwarted a narcotics exchange at Chautauqua County Jail during morning visitation on March 7th, leading to the arrest of two local residents.
During visitation hours, Officers observed Debbie L. Hires allegedly passing an object to inmate Randall J. Rolison, who was later found attempting to ingest a package containing methamphetamine. Both suspects were charged with Promoting Prison Contraband 1st and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th. Hires faces an additional charge of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 5th.

Arraigned at the Centralized Arraignment Program, they await legal proceedings.
