(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – A local woman was apprehended by Jamestown police following a domestic altercation at a Southside residence, where she allegedly engaged in physical violence in the presence of her juvenile son and an infant.
On May 2, 2024, at approximately 3:10 PM, authorities from the Jamestown Police Department’s 2nd platoon responded to reports of an alleged domestic dispute at a residence in the Southside area. Upon arrival, officers allegedly witnessed a physical altercation unfolding. Subsequent investigation revealed that Nemesis M. Arriaga Rivera had been involved in a physical altercation with her juvenile son, which occurred in the presence of an infant.
In response, officers took Nemesis M. Arriaga Rivera into custody without resistance. She now faces two charges of endangering the welfare of a child. Nemesis M. Arriaga Rivera is currently being held at the City Jail, awaiting arraignment at Jamestown City Court.
