(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – In the early hours of May 5, 2024, a 32-year-old resident of West Ellicott, was apprehended by officers on E. 2nd Street for multiple traffic violations, culminating in a DWI arrest.
Officers from the Third Platoon initiated a traffic stop after allegedly witnessing Francisco G. Rojo Zavala’s vehicle disregard a red light and exceed the speed limit. Upon interaction, authorities suspected intoxication, leading to his arrest for allegedly driving while under the influence. Following standard procedures, Rojo Zavala underwent processing at the Jamestown City Jail and was subsequently released on an appearance ticket for the pending charges of passing a red light, speeding in a designated zone, DWI, and DWI Per Se. The case is scheduled to be addressed in the Jamestown City Court at a later date.
