Jamestown, NY — Matthew J. Sedlmayer, 24, of Jamestown, has been arrested following a domestic dispute on May 18, 2024, at 9:15 PM.

Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Second Platoon responded to a domestic dispute on the city’s south side. Investigation revealed that Sedlmayer allegedly struck the victim in the face, causing injury, and forcibly took their phone.

Sedlmayer was located by the Third Platoon officers and taken into custody without incident. He faces charges of third-degree robbery and third-degree assault.

Sedlmayer is currently held at the Jamestown City Jail, pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
