A routine street check by Jamestown Police led to the arrest of a local man with multiple warrants, highlighting the persistent issue of domestic incident violations.
In the early hours of June 13, 2024, at approximately 12:59 a.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 3rd Platoon conducted a street check at a residence on the city’s West Side. During the operation, officers located 55-year-old Zachary Clark, a resident of Jamestown, who was found to have several outstanding warrants.
Further investigation revealed that Clark was in violation of an active order of protection, leading to his immediate arrest. Clark has been charged with Criminal Contempt in the 2nd Degree.
Clark is currently held in the Jamestown City Jail pending his arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
