In a late evening incident, Jamestown police apprehended two residents found trespassing in a condemned northside building.
On the evening of June 14, 2024, at approximately 7:39 PM, officers from the Jamestown Police Department responded to a trespass complaint at a northside residence. Upon arrival, they discovered Ted R. Casler, 44, and Ebony L. Casler, 38, unlawfully inside a condemned building.
The officers promptly took both individuals into custody, transporting them to Jamestown City Jail. Ted and Ebony Casler were booked on charges of Criminal Trespass in the 3rd Degree. This charge indicates they knowingly entered or remained unlawfully in the building, which had been deemed unfit for occupancy.
Following their booking, the Caslers were released on appearance tickets. They are scheduled to appear before Jamestown City Court for their arraignment.
