(WNY News Now) – Jamestown native and Author Sherry States to Host Book Signing and Q&A at Prendergast Library.
Jamestown, NY – Sherry States, a Jamestown native and inspirational author, will host a book signing and Q&A session at Prendergast Library on September 23rd. From 12:30 to 3:00 PM in the Fireplace Room, States will present her latest book, “Never Forsaken: God Delivered Me From Hopeless Situations.”
States, a self-published author, has navigated a life filled with challenges. Raised by a single mother with mental health issues, States herself struggled with ADHD and dyslexia, learning to read as an adult. Despite these obstacles, she achieved multiple degrees, culminating in an MBA with an emphasis on Christian Leadership, and had a brief career with the Department of Defense as an accountant.
Currently residing in Central Texas, States is not only an author but also a mother, grandmother, and baker. Her latest book recounts her experiences with angelic encounters, miracles, and multiple healings. It is a raw and honest account of overcoming abuses, alcoholism, failed marriages, miscarriages, and rapes, all through her unwavering faith in God.

About the Author: Sherry States is the author of three books. Her first book is a collection of prayers in poem form, written during a period of healing following her first divorce.
