(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – The Jamestown Police Department received a larceny complaint on the evening of June 26, 2024. The incident occurred at a North side business, where an employee reported the theft of their cell phone.
Responding officers, in coordination with Ellicott police, identified Yosdanis E. Arias Diaz as the alleged suspect. Diaz, 41, was found a short time later and taken into custody without any resistance. The police transported Diaz to the City Jail, and was charged with petit larceny. Diaz was subsequently released on an appearance ticket to appear in Jamestown City Court to face the charges.
