(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – A routine traffic stop in Jamestown uncovers over seven grams of crack cocaine, leading to a significant drug arrest.
On the evening of July 13, 2024, at approximately 8:43 PM, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 2nd Platoon conducted a traffic stop near Barrett Avenue and the Barrett Avenue Ramp for observed traffic infractions. The driver, identified as 55-year-old Denise L. Pattyson, was pulled over and subsequently investigated by the officers.
During the stop, officers obtained consent to search Pattyson’s vehicle. The search revealed a substantial find—7.3 grams of crack cocaine hidden inside the car. Following the discovery, Pattyson was arrested without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
Denise L. Pattyson has been charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree and issued multiple traffic citations. She is currently held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
