(WNY News Now) – The Chamber of Commerce invites local business owners to a transformative workshop on July 22, featuring award-winning writer and filmmaker Travis Carlson. Titled “Branding Through Storytelling and Images,” this Business Builder Workshop promises to deliver valuable insights into effective branding strategies.

Travis Carlson, a Chautauqua County native, has an impressive background in cinematography, having worked with the Buffalo Bills and Sabres for five years. He is also the co-founder of Pan-American Film Division in Buffalo, a company renowned for helping businesses enhance their communication through visual storytelling. Pan-American’s notable projects include the one-shot feature film “Mother’s Day” and several short films showcased at the Cannes Film Festival. Their latest endeavor, “Mafia: Buffalo -vs- the Multiverse,” is a graphic novel that creatively blends AI-generated images with a unique fantasy adventure centered around the Buffalo Bills’ fan culture.

The workshop will take place from 1-3 PM at the Key Auditorium, SUNY Fredonia Science Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with Carlson during a Q&A session.

This event is free, but advance registration is required. Interested participants can sign up through the Chamber’s web calendar or by calling (716) 484-1101 or (716) 366-6200.
