(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – A Jamestown woman has been charged with third-degree assault following a domestic dispute on August 1, 2024, that resulted in physical injury.
On the evening of August 1, 2024, at approximately 8:37 PM, Jamestown police responded to a domestic disturbance on the south side of the city. Upon arrival, officers found that 34-year-old Kayla L. Jung was involved in a heated argument with a victim. During the altercation, Jung reportedly struck the victim in the head with an object, causing noticeable physical harm.
Following the investigation, Jung was arrested and transported to the city jail. She faces charges of Assault in the Third Degree. As of now, she is being held pending her arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
