(WNY News Now) – Dunkirk – A late-night altercation on Townsend St. has left one man with a stab wound as Dunkirk Police investigate the circumstances.
On Sunday, August 4th, 2024, at approximately 10:45 PM, Dunkirk Police responded to reports of a fight in the 100 block of Townsend Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim with an apparent stab wound. Despite his injuries, the victim was uncooperative with the police.
The man was promptly transported to Brooks Memorial Hospital by Dunkirk Fire for treatment of minor injuries. Details surrounding the altercation and the identity of those involved remain unclear as the investigation continues.
The Dunkirk Police Department urges anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
