(WNY News Now) – Syracuse – A late-night stabbing on McKinley Avenue leaves a teenage male injured and a female juvenile in custody.
On Friday, August 9, 2024, at approximately 10:48 p.m., Syracuse Police officers responded to a reported stabbing in the 200 block of McKinley Avenue. Arriving on the scene, officers discovered a teenage male victim with a stab wound to his stomach and a facial laceration. Emergency services transported the victim to University Hospital where he received treatment. Fortunately, his injuries are not life-threatening, and he is listed in stable condition.
In connection with the incident, a female juvenile was arrested. She has since been released on a family court appearance ticket. As are all persons accused of a crime, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
