(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – Treasure hunters and coin enthusiasts alike are gearing up for the Jamestown Coin Club’s annual show, a must-visit event for collectors and sellers.
Coin collectors, sellers, and curious enthusiasts are invited to the highly anticipated Jamestown Coin Club Coin Show, scheduled for Sunday, August 25, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Celoron American Legion – Herman Kent Post 777 on Jackson Avenue. This event is a key opportunity for collectors to buy, sell, and appraise coins, with over two dozen dealers participating from western New York, northwest Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
Attendees can expect a diverse range of U.S., ancient, and foreign coins available for purchase, along with essential coin supplies. Whether you’re looking to expand your collection or discover the value of your current coins, this show offers something for everyone. Free appraisals will be available, making it easier for collectors to understand the worth of their rare finds.
In addition to the coin dealings, the event will feature exciting raffle prizes, including a tenth-ounce American Eagle, BU Morgan dollars, a 1946 Walking Liberty half dollar, an 1896 uncirculated Indian Head cent, and four Silver Eagle coins. Hourly door prizes add to the excitement, ensuring there’s a chance for everyone to leave with something valuable.
The Jamestown Coin Club, known for its monthly meetings on the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Legion (except December), invites guests to join their vibrant community.
